Here's a great activity for a hot, hot day! Several of the AMF Bowling Alleys in the area offer 2 free games of bowling for kids every day of the summer. Alot of fun for my kids and their friends today (and it kept them out of the heat for awhile). Visit the website for additional details. It is necessary to register beforehand and you must select one of the 3 alleys in the area as your preferred location. There is also a family pass that allows additional discounts for grown-ups.
Although there were a few fees involved once we reached the bowling alley - it was still a great deal!
