Usually when I hear those 3 dreaded words, Chuck E. Cheese, I cringe and want to run in the other direction. But I have a couple kids who love these games and the whole tickets-for-trinkets thing. So we went for a visit today and I think I have found a few secrets to making it a successful outing. First off the place opens at 9am, which means you can avoid the crowds (and germs) by getting there early before lunch. We arrived at 9:15 and were one of three families sharing the games. We also grabbed one of the coupons from the Sunday paper and that made the token purchase very reasonable. My three little ones ran around and played games until their hearts content and then traded their tickets for a few lollipops and a ring. When we left less than 2 hours later and everyone had a smile on their face.
